Coronation Street stars swapped the cobbles for the red carpet in support of co-star Beverley Callard’s performance in the Rocky Horror Show.
Beverley, who plays Weatherfield icon Liz McDonald, is the Narrator in the rock and roll stage performance, which opened at the Opera House on Tuesday.
Her soap star colleagues battled the winter chill for a night out at the theatre to watch the new production of Richard O’Brien’s hit musical, dubbed ‘panto for grown-ups.’
The show’s customary fancy dress was nowhere to be seen, with celebs opting for a more smart-casual attire to keep away the cold temperatures.

Sally Ann Matthews, who plays Liz’s arch enemy Jenny Connor, was all smiles as she posed for photos with her hubby Nicholas Rhodes – a far cry away from her scorned character, who recently ran Liz over in her car drunk while stewing over her nemesis’ infidelity with her husband Johnny.
Victoria Ekanoye, who plays recently exited accountant Angie Appleton, stood out from the crowd with an eye-catching knee length yellow coat over a long-sleeve snake print midi shirt dress teamed with black ankle boots.
Daniel Brocklebank looked almost as happy as his vicar character Billy Mayhew, who recently shared an on-screen kiss with Gemma Winter’s brother Paul Foreman.
Wearing a black winter coat, black jeans and brown shoes, the actor looked relaxed and happy despite having to tackle homophobic comments on Twitter earlier this week.
One troll – whose account has since been suspended – posted there should be warnings on TV before two men kiss after their 10-year-old granddaughter asked ‘why’ it was happening – but was quickly shut down by Daniel and a number of other famous faces, including co-star Kate Ford, who plays Tracy Barlow.
Also making an appearance was Alexandra Mardell who plays Emma Brooker, posing with for snaps with Mollie Winnard, amid rumours her character evil Kayla Clifton, the daughter of rapist Neil, will return to Corrie to get revenge on Bethany Platt.
Colson Smith, the ITV soap’s resident police officer Craig Tinker, opted for the super casual look, wearing a black hoodie and jeans.
Bev herself also made an appearance after the show wearing a colourful silk pattern shirt, black leggings and knee high boots, arm in arm with hubby Jon McEwan, who donned a checked purple jacket matched with a scarf and thick-rimmed glasses to match his wife’s.
Other stars included Eccles actress Jorgi Porter, who opted for Liz McDonald inspired leopard print scarves and cosy looking beige coat, who was pictured with Hollyoaks actress Nicole Barber Lane.
Other famous faces from the Channel 4 soap included Ellis Hollins, Nathan Massey, pictured with girlfriend Amy Forrest, and Jaz Franks.
Radcliffe model Rhian Sugden was almost unrecognisable with a new girl next door fringe and casual jeans-boot combo.
Also spotted on the red carpet were Real Housewives of Cheshire cosmetic dentist Hanna Miraftab and her fella Martin Kinsella, as well as Alice Barry from Shameless.
The Rocky Horror Show tells the story of Brad and his fiancée Janet, two squeaky clean college kids who meet Dr Frank’n’Furter by chance when their car breaks down outside his house on their way to visit their college professor.
